# 1. Acceptance of Agreement
By accessing or using Billinox, you agree to this Use of Service Agreement together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
# 2. Description of the Service
Billinox provides:
- Invoice creation and delivery
- Customer management and billing
- Quotation and estimate generation
- PDF export and print-ready documents
- Offline-first business operation
- Optional encrypted cloud backups
- Multi-device synchronization
# 3. User Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate billing and customer records.
- Protect your account credentials and recovery codes.
- Manage your own backups and exports periodically.
- Comply with local laws, tax obligations, and invoicing standards.
- Verify the accuracy of every invoice before sending it to a customer.
# 4. Permitted Use
You may use Billinox for legitimate business activities, including:
- Issuing invoices to customers
- Tracking payments and receivables
- Generating quotes and estimates
- Managing financial records for your business
- Running operations for sole traders, freelancers, and SMBs
# 5. Prohibited Use
- Illegal financial activity, money laundering, or tax evasion.
- Issuing fraudulent or misleading invoices.
- Unauthorized access attempts against Billinox or other users.
- Distributing malware or harmful code through the Service.
- Abusing cloud sync or backup quotas.
- Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code.
- Reselling or sublicensing access without written permission.
- Disrupting the Service or interfering with other users.
# 6. Data Ownership
You own your business data. Billinox makes no claim to your invoices, customers, quotations, or financial records.
- You retain full ownership of all content you create in Billinox.
- Billinox does not sell or share your business data.
- You are responsible for keeping copies of important records.
# 7. Offline-First Architecture Notice
- Losing or wiping a device may result in permanent data loss if backups are disabled.
- Device security (lock screen, encryption, MDM) is your responsibility.
- We recommend enabling cloud backups or scheduled exports.
# 8. Service Availability
- Some features (cloud sync, payment integrations) require an internet connection.
- Third-party providers may experience independent outages.
- We perform routine maintenance, typically during low-traffic windows.
- Offline mode keeps invoicing functional during interruptions.
# 9. Security Responsibilities
- Use a strong, unique password and enable 2FA.
- Lock or encrypt devices that hold local Billinox data.
- Sign out of shared devices and review active sessions regularly.
- Limit multi-device access to devices you trust.
# 10. Suspension & Termination
Billinox may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if:
- You violate this Agreement or our Terms.
- Your account shows signs of fraud or compromise.
- We are required to act by law or a legal order.
- Investigation of suspected misuse is necessary to protect users.
Where possible, we provide notice and a chance to remedy issues before termination.
